Nero is a stunning example of the Noriker breed. These drafts are native to Austria, and were developed to be midsized heavy horses. Bred to be strong and agile, these workhorses historically pulled heavy loads in mountainous terrain.
While several coat colors are seen in the breed, the most eye-catching is leopard-spotted appaloosa, which is called “tiger” in the breed’s homeland.
