The first stop of the new Exotic Destination series is the capital of Iceland – Reykjavík. Meaning “Bay of Smokes,” its unique location has vents that release steam from deep within the earth. This country is also home to the Icelandic Horse. Despite their smaller size, these wild-maned, smooth-gaited horses can easily carry adult riders thanks to their incredible strength.
Our Reykjavík is a silver grulla Icelandic horse. His smoky-hued coat was designed by Sommer Prosser and is reminiscent of stormy winter skies while his blue eyes are the glowing icy shade seen deep in the glaciers of the surrounding landscape. The silver dapple gene gives his beautiful flowing mane and tail their pale highlights. This stallion features "Reykjavík 2024" on his belly.
