The Second Release in the 2019 Vintage Club

At last, two legends meet in the latest Vintage Club release of Leopold! Although he has had a number of Appaloosa releases since his introduction in 1961, it is only in his return engagement to the Vintage Club that the popular Fighting Stallion King (mold #31) now sports the Appaloosa Performance Horse’s signature paint job.

As with the earliest releases of the Performance Horse, Leopold also comes with an opaque Chalky basecoat. This feature is highly sought after by collectors of vintage Breyers for the way it both highlights and enhances subtle details in the paint.

The Performance Horse’s elaborately designed pattern was groundbreaking for its time, paving the way for the even more complex and realistic releases in the later 1970s, 1980s and beyond!

Leopold comes in a retro 1980s era style package with a booklet and numbered certificate of authenticity.
