Surprise! (Not the Surprise Model, though)

Surprise! (Not the Surprise Model, though)

Did we scare you?  Did you think we’d forgotten to do a decorator model for this year?  There is no way we would have missed the opportunity to bring you this next model.  And we promise you we have saved the best for last.

Our NINTH and final BreyerFest Special Run reveal for 2020’s Celtic Fling is…Boudicca!

Done on the Andalusian Mare mold, #734, sculpted by Brigitte Eberl, this year’s decorator screams (war cries!) Celtic!  Our homage to the ancient Celtic Queen of the Iceni, Boudicca famously led an uprising against the invading Roman forces in Britain during the middle of the first century CE. Done in a mulberry grey and soft pearl, her fiery ginger mane and tail and battle-ready woad war paint will be the envy of your collection.

In case you missed it, we’ve extended the Early Bird deadline to the end of the month (April 30th), so you still have some time to make your Early Bird 3-Day ticket purchases and be automatically entered into the Raffle for one of three stunning Dyflin models.

We’ve still got more to come right here on the BreyerFest Blog, so don’t stray too far!

She’s so beautiful! I absolutely love the colors. Great choice on the mold, too!

Janice Layne - April 15, 2020

I really like her! Actually, I really love her! Love the colors and that she honors Boudicca!

KY GAL - April 15, 2020

I believe they did the mane because Boudicca was a fiery red head and her color she carried into battle was blue. Just an idea.

Jae Conway - April 15, 2020

She is really beautiful but the blue and the orange aren’t really my thing.

ThunderstormBreyers - April 15, 2020

Well now I know there is a decorator! Phew! Although I am relieved there is a decorator this year, I will not be getting her. The orange and the blue kind of doesn’t look well together in my opinion. I was hoping for a leprechaun sort of thing, or celtic knots, but it’s alright. Hopefully other people will enjoy her! Also, since Breyefest is online this year, could you please at least release the mold or color of the surprise model? Because I don’t want to get it, have it shipped to my house, open it up, and be disappointed with what I got. It would be a waste of money for me, and since I can only get four special runs, it would be even worse, wasting money on a horse that I am disappointed with when I open it. Please?

Omg I love her Breyer! I’m saving so much for all these lovely models!

Rory - April 15, 2020

Im glad there’s a decorator, but I’m not really sure about the ginger mane with the blue.

BreyerPoet - April 15, 2020

Was not expecting this mold. She is pretty and the blue really stands out. But I am very picky on the decos I want, so this girl is not for me. Surprised there’s a 9th SR, I can’t wait for Dyflin to be announced!!!!!🤞🤞
