Happy Monday!

Happy Monday!

We hope all our Breyer fans had a great weekend! We wanted to kick this week off with another model that fans joining in the BreyerFest action both in-person and online will have access to - our next Special Run model reveal!

In 75 years, Breyer has seen many changes.  Breyer has rolled with the punches through all of these changes and continues to revel in the good times, committed to bringing fans around the globe a horse of their very own.

The first sculpts Breyer produced were groundbreaking. Iconic molds, sculpted by accomplished artist and Breyer master mold-maker Chris Hess, are some of our most cherished sculptures to this day – such as the Semi-Rearing Mustang, Fighting Stallion, Misty and Stormy, and the one who started it all, the Western Horse. They were then, and still are, beautiful representations of horses. Since then, Breyer has been privileged to work with additional equine artists such as Kathleen Moody, Susan Carlton Sifton, Brigitte Eberl and more.

Fast forward to today and artists are able to sculpt with an extreme level of accuracy, down to muscling and other biomechanical nuances. This is thanks in part to access to technology, but also to advances in skills and resources.  Advances in the manufacturing process have allowed Breyer to produce models more quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing the artistry that makes a Breyer a Breyer – each model is still hand-painted by a person, making them a uniquely beautiful piece of art.

Here at Breyer, we are looking forward to seeing where the future brings us and want to Let the Good Times Roll as we embrace all the fun changes we’re sure are coming our way.

For this next Special Run model reveal, we are thrilled to show off Let the Good Times Roll, a handsome sooty buckskin leopard appaloosa finished with a delicious gloss. This absolutely stunning guy has been created on the Show Jumping Warmblood mold (#579), sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton, with a loose mane and tail. He will be available to VIP, All-Access, and Online Traditional Access ticket holders.

See you back here on the BreyerFest Blog tomorrow for our next Limited Edition reveal!

Who are those industrious workers in the yellow shirts? I wish I was the person with all of those blank Swaps! Has Breyer ever sold any mainstream Traditional or Classic model blanks to hobbyists? I bet that market would be lucrative, especially with your popular models.
