An Ace Up Our Sleeve!

An Ace Up Our Sleeve!

Yesterday we promised you another Limited Edition reveal, and we love to deliver on a promise!

As you may know, Limited Edition models are available to all BreyerFest ticket holders, whether you’re joining us in-person or online. We know you’re going to race to add this guy to your herd! We continue to showcase the variety of equestrian disciplines Breyer has represented through its models over the decades with this year’s Limited Edition lineup, and this versatile guy checks the boxes for not one, but two disciplines!

Meet Halcyonia Night Life!

Wanting to change directions in the horse industry, Emilia Quaggiotto took a chance and bought a black Welsh Section C colt with one half blue eye after looking at just one photo. While she normally would never buy a horse without seeing it first, she had a feeling that the gangly colt, known as Halcyonia Night Life, was going to be special.

This talented 5 year old stallion “aced” everything that was thrown his way. “Ace,” as he is now known in the barn, started off by driving and showing in-hand. Once he was ready, he started dressage training. In his growing career, Ace has won top placings in Welsh breed shows in Canada and the USA for in-hand, driving, and riding. He was the 2023 and 2024 USEF National Champion in Welsh Section C & D English Pleasure. In dressage, he has won multiple blue and red ribbons, scoring above 70%, Reserve Champion in the 4-year-old Futurity, and Reserve Champion stallion in the Open Sport Pony Breed show at the 2024 National Dressage Pony Cup.

Although Ace is young, he is proving how versatile he is by competing and placing in multiple disciplines against older, bigger horses. Along with his winning ways in the show ring, this up-and-coming stallion has a winning personality and temperament. Ace is Westfalen approved and working towards other approvals as well.

Halcyonia Night Life's portrait model is a handsome, rich dappled black on the Cantering Welsh Cob mold (#826) sculpted by Eva Rossiter. He will be available as a part of this year’s Limited Edition models available to all ticket holders, whether you’re joining us in-person or online. VIP ticket buyers will have the option of pre-selecting and pre-purchasing this stunning stallion at the time of their ticket purchase, guaranteeing their selection.

Emilia, Ace and his team have much to celebrate as this super stallion starts to pass on his versatility, athleticism, good looks, and perfect temperament to the next generation of sport ponies. They look forward to meeting attendees this summer at BreyerFest!
