2022 BreyerFest Special Runs - Revealed!

Here at Breyer we love keeping our fans guessing and adding surprises into runs! Today, we are thrilled to be able to finally reveal how all of this year’s Special Run models break out!

The first model revealed back in January was Ländler, who was named after a traditional German dance that involves a lot of stomping and hopping. This handsome guy was this years glossy and matte finish split. To satisfy Team Glossy and Team Matte equally, 1,150 pieces are glossy and 1,150 pieces are matte.

The next model we added a fun surprise to was Marizpan. This wild guy was named after the famous German Christmastime treat and popular baking ingredient. Marzipan was this years color split. 1,100 models were done as the Palomino Pinto and 1,100 were done as a Seal Bay Pinto. Who did you end up getting?

Stein, Rapunzel, Elbe & Spree, Brahms, Franz and the Breyer Bears were just too amazing as they were, and we decided not to add any variations to them. While not all the Special Runs had variations, keep an eye out on the Blog later this week for the breakdown of the Rotating Draft Surprise, where we many have thrown in a few more tricks!

I’m not sure what’s up with that but, I think you may have received one of the suprise horse variations? Check bryers post on the suprise horses and check if it’s any of them. If not, I’d email or call breyer

I loved just about everything that you did this year. Wasn’t as fond of the bears but might still get a set down the road sometime… ended up with the Blue Franz and LOVE him! I also wanted to say that I enjoyed how you did the surprise SR for those of us who couldn’t attend. The way they were labeled continued the suspense until I got my model opened! THANK YOU!

I wish there had been more than two variations…like a mane variation on rapunzel, a blanket appaloosa/glossy version of stein, a reverse pattern on elbe and spree, a german flag unscented variation on the bears, a possible variation on franz…matte/glossy?? and something like last years pollock variation on brahms, so a reverse appaloosa?? I Just wish that there was more variation, but loved my glossy landler!! Thank you so much for an amazing breyerfest this year!!!!!!!!

I absolutely loved all the SRs & got one of each! But the best part of the SRs is finding out if there were different matte/glossy & color variations. Just last year I got the gold variation of Tassili, Knossos, & Pollock which was extremely lucky! I really wish y’all did more. Please do next year. As always Breyer you are still amazing as always ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
