2022 BreyerFest Special Runs - Revealed!

Here at Breyer we love keeping our fans guessing and adding surprises into runs! Today, we are thrilled to be able to finally reveal how all of this year’s Special Run models break out!

The first model revealed back in January was Ländler, who was named after a traditional German dance that involves a lot of stomping and hopping. This handsome guy was this years glossy and matte finish split. To satisfy Team Glossy and Team Matte equally, 1,150 pieces are glossy and 1,150 pieces are matte.

The next model we added a fun surprise to was Marizpan. This wild guy was named after the famous German Christmastime treat and popular baking ingredient. Marzipan was this years color split. 1,100 models were done as the Palomino Pinto and 1,100 were done as a Seal Bay Pinto. Who did you end up getting?

Stein, Rapunzel, Elbe & Spree, Brahms, Franz and the Breyer Bears were just too amazing as they were, and we decided not to add any variations to them. While not all the Special Runs had variations, keep an eye out on the Blog later this week for the breakdown of the Rotating Draft Surprise, where we many have thrown in a few more tricks!

OMG!! I want to say that I had a blast at this year’s Breyerfest and I can not wait until next year to come, Thank you so much Breyer for a wonderful time back at the Kentucky Horse Park!! Two years was too long to be away, although I did like some of the aspects of the Breyer virtual stuff, and I thank you again for keeping Breyerfest going from 2020 and 2021. Now I can not wait to see which was the most rarest of the Rotating Draft Surprise!!

The Bears should have been done with surprise sets that were in the colors of the German flag.

I wish you guys would have done a variation with the bears!! Different colors like purple that smelled like grapes, blue that smelled like blueberries or blue raspberries, pink that smelled like watermelon etc. I have to say that I wish the scents smelled more like fruits…….they have an odd beer smell to them that I can only compare to that of mikes hard lemonade.
