More info on this year's Virtual Celtic Fling

Now that we’ve announced the transition of BreyerFest Celtic Fling to a virtual event, we know that you have a lot of questions.  We are hard at work putting together answers for you to make sure that all of our guests are as informed about this new event as they can be.  More information will be added to this soon, but here is what we can tell you so far:

What will this new, virtual BreyerFest Celtic Fling experience be like?

  • BreyerFest Celtic Fling will be hosted online only – no activities are planned for or will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park.
  • The event will still take place July 10-12, 2020 on BreyerHorses.com and on Breyer social media platforms.
  • The event will be a combination of live and pre-recorded video and photo content and will include equine demonstrations, interviews with guest horse owners, artist demos, workshop tutorials, seminars, raffles, contests, access to exclusive BreyerFest models and swag, music and dance performances, an online vendor marketplace and Artisans’ Gallery, photo model horse shows, and more.

What is included with my 3-Day ticket purchase?

  • This year’s Celebration Model, Ballynoe Castle RM
  • One Special Run ticket that allows you to purchase up to 2 Special Run models
  • Exclusive access to behind-the scenes tours at the KHP
  • A special performance produced by Sylvia Zerbini and the Celebration of Horses performers
  • Access to interviews and performances with guest horses
  • Bonus content from other BreyerFest partners

How will I get my models and swag?

  • All guests who purchase BreyerFest tickets will have their models and swag shipped to them.
    • Domestic – FREE shipping
    • Canada - $10 flat rate shipping
    • All other International - $25 flat rate shipping

Will all my purchases be shipped together?

  • We will use the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods possible over the course of the event. We want to make sure all your purchases and event models arrive to you safely.

Can I participate if I don’t have a ticket?

  • Non-ticket holders will have limited access to BreyerFest-specific content and NO access to limited-edition product.
  • Only 3-Day ticket holders will have access to this year’s BreyerFest Special Run models.
  • All ticket holders will have access to this year’s BreyerFest Store Specials, Fling! Pop-up Souvenir Shop models, and exclusive BreyerFest swag, as well as some fun surprises we have planned for the BreyerFest virtual store.

Will Single-Day tickets/Stablemates be offered?

  • Of course! We can't wait to reveal these beauties to you!
  • Guests who purchase these tickets will also have access to the same virtual BreyerFest content as 3-Day ticket holders as well as Store Special models and this year’s Fling! Pop-up Souvenir Shop models and swag.

Are tickets I purchased from a friend/on the secondary market valid?  

  • Access to the virtual event is based on account ticket status on BreyerHorses.com.
  • The account that purchased the tickets has the access. 
  • Ticket status is not transferrable to another account.

Will there be a Live Auction/Best Customs Contest/Diorama Contest?

  • More details on each will be posted soon!

What will the theme for 2021 be?

  • As always, the theme for the next year’s BreyerFest will be revealed on the Sunday afternoon of BreyerFest weekend.

My adult daughter and I purchased three day tickets for this event just so we could see the 2020 Celebration horse. Reggie would participate in winter shows at the ranch near our home and we thought it would be fun to see him up close and personal. The Kentucky Horse Park is opening tomorrow but will not honor the three day admission that I have purchased through Breyer Fest tickets. The staff at the horse park stated that the horse park had not been paid for any admissions since the fest was cancelled. If that is truly the situation, it seems that Breyer could at least refund the portion of the Breyer Fest ticket price that covered three days admission to the park.

I just got my 3 day ticket and I am very happy to have done it, we were not going to be able to go this year because of my hubby’s job and though I am sad for those who will not be able to experience the live Breyerfest in person this year, I am happy that Breyer found a way for all to enjoy some of the experience of Breyerfest and that I will be able to enjoy it from home this year.

What about the costume contest?
Will there be a partial refund since it’s not on-site?
What if we bought our tickets as a guest? What about buying multiple for family members?

I’m actually very excited for this new version. KY is beautiful and I have driven there twice for Breyerfest, but I wasn’t thinking I would be able to swing it this year and I didn’t want to buy just a one day for a 14 hour drive. This way, I can be part of it after all! And hey, not standing in 90-100 degree heat is awesome!

Breyer, thank you SO MUCH for holding Virtual Breyerfest! I have never been to Breyerfest because I have multiple medical issues and can’t do the heat or the walking. This is probably the only time I will ever get to participate, unless of course you could somehow see a way to add an online component to Breyerfest every year so that people like me can participate. I am grateful for this opportunity!!!

I purchased 2 3day tickets. One for my daughter and one for me so I could take her. If I am not interested in the virtual experience is there a way to get a refund or online credit for my ticket? Online credit would be good if we could use It for Breyer store or special runs. I also purchased a parking pass. Will that be refunded or credited?

I take my granddaughter to Breyerfest every year for her birthday. Do I need to only purchase 1 three day ticket this year in order for her to get to buy special runs? Also, will there be assigned times for special runs just like normal?
