Big News About the BreyerFest Open Show!
We announced last week that the BreyerFest Open Show would be officially expanding to be a two-day show! We are thrilled to be able to expand this show to two days so that more folks can participate.
On Thursday, July 10th, the BreyerFest Open Show will only be hosting the following classes:
- Open Original Finish and Customized Performance
- Mini Performance (new for 2025!)
- Original Finish Mini Halter
- Stablemates Collector’s Class
These classes will not be offered on Friday, July 11th, so if you would like to show in these classes, please be sure to register for Thursday. All other classes not listed above will be on Friday, July 11th – if you want to show in any of those classes as well, you will need to register for both days of the show. This will include the following:
- Variety, Commonality, and Novice Collectors Classes
- Novice Performance
- All other Halter divisions, including Collectibility, Regular Run, Special Run (both divisions), Customized (including CM by Amateur Owner), and Foal.
All participants in Thursday Open Show divisions will be automatically upgraded to a full table at no additional charge, for Thursday only. If you would also like to participate in classes taking place on Friday, full table upgrades will be limited as they have in previous years. There is no guarantee you will also have a full table on Friday if you are also showing on Thursday. However, if you are registered for Thursday classes and Friday classes, you will be able to retain your table location in the show hall.
Sectional and Overall Champion and Reserve Champion prizes will be divided appropriately by day, so anyone showing in the Thursday classes will not miss out on anything.
As a reminder, the Alltech Arena is the only location where in-person BreyerFest activities will be taking place on Thursday at the Kentucky Horse Park. No other parts of BreyerFest will be open at the KHP on Thursday (including guest horse stabling and the BreyerFest Store). Please respect the Events Team as they prepare BreyerFest for guests and do not come to the BreyerFest areas of the KHP, including the Covered Arena and Celebration Park areas, on Thursday – we look forward to welcoming you to BreyerFest on Friday morning.
