EXPECTED IN STOCK DATE
New for 2025
The Longhorn Bull is an icon of the American West, and is known for its impressive horns which can span up to 10 feet.
This breed of cattle originated in the United States from stock imported from Spanish and English origins. As settlers moved in to ranch the hot, humid land of what is now south Texas, they found the Longhorn to be perfectly adapted to the rugged conditions. These hardy cattle thrived during the long, dusty cattle drives that other breeds struggled with. Their tough, independent nature made them as well-known as the cowboys who guided them.
Many Longhorns are found in some shade of red, but they can exhibit a variety of coat colors including black, brown and white, which can be paired with additional white markings and/or brindling. The Longhorn is a popular mascot and symbol for sports teams and businesses around the world, often used to evoke a feeling of the Western lifestyle.
