Tomas Garcilazo Wins “Go-Big Show” Grand Prize
If you’ve never had the pleasure of watching Tomas Garcilazo perform, now is a better time than ever! Tomas is world-renowned for his talent in trick roping and traditional Mexican charro horsemanship. His expert abilities landed him a spot on the new TBS talent show series “Go-Big Show” in early 2021 – the program is a unique spin on the usual televised talent show, focusing on larger-scale acts such as stunt work, circus performances, and of course, horseback riding.
Breyer created a portrait model of Garcilazo’s trick riding partner, 2002 Quarter Horse stallion Latigo Dun It (known by many as “Hollywood”) in 2018, and the pair even showed off their talents in person at BreyerFest the following year. Hollywood joined his rider in the national television spotlight, where they showcased some of their most notable tricks including the jaw-dropping “wedding ring!”

Their act wowed the judges enough to land them a spot in the show’s finals, which aired on March 11th. Garcilazo had a total of three performances on the show – the first being a solo act, then a match-up win performed with his wife Justine, then their final grand-prize winning act with the whole family (including Garcilazo’s 6-year-old son Louis) which netted them the $100,000 check. The full performance is available on Go-Big Show’s YouTube channel below.
Breyer extends its congratulations to Tomas, Hollywood, and the entire Garcilazo family for a job well done!
Hollywood's Breyer portrait model was part of the Traditional line from 2018-2019.
