Our First Special Run Reveal!

Our First Special Run Reveal!

Kicking off this year’s Special Run reveals, we are so excited to show BreyerFest fans this handsome reimagining of the most recent 2022 Premier Club release.

The Egyptian landscape is dotted with ancient temples filled with carvings depicting pharaohs, queens, gods, and animals.  One such Speos, the Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, includes this famous depiction of Ramses II which shows the Pharaoh on his triumphal chariot being pulled by two horses. (If you participated in our Diorama Contest in 2021, this image might be familiar to you!)

For this year’s celebration of Driving Forward, our Speos has been done on the Amazigh Stallion (which is native to North Africa), mold # 814, sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig. Speos has been done in a rich, coppery chestnut color with two white socks and a handsome blaze.

VIP and All-Access ticket holders will both have access to purchase this stunning model, a great addition to any herd.

We will see you back here on the BreyerFest Blog tomorrow for another reveal!

So pretty! But Breyer, idk how many times people are going to say this but, PLEASE make ALL special runs available for online ticket holders too! This is one of my favorite models for this breyerfest but I can’t get it because I can’t go in person! It would only be fair for us to be able to get special runs since all the other in person ticket holders get to do so much more! Please consider!

Oh, he’s handsome!
❤️🐴❤️

I’m from Brazil and I won’t be able to go to Breyerfest in person, I want to participate online, but the model I loved (Speos) is not available for online tickets! Please, those of us who buy online no longer have the opportunity to buy at the festival, don’t take away our right to buy the models we like!

SAME HERE APRIL!!!

PLEASE stop ignoring your online only Breyerfest folks! There’s no chance I can ever attend in person, and I can’t afford second market prices!!! PLEASE!!! The best thing about covid was being able to get a chance to get the horse I wanted because BF was online. I’m crying over here because the best horses last year were in person only. It was SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!

My husband is Moroccan (Amazigh heritage) and I lived with him in Morocco for a year. The Moroccan Barbs there look precisely like this and I want to congratulate Sarah on this sculpture… he is amazing in the color! Thank you Breyer for also celebrating Northern Africa! It is a wonderful place and it would also be my hope that you could also showcase the Amazigh horse culture by educating our fellow horse lovers on Tbourida (Morocco)/Fantasia (Algeria) which is a centuries-old traditional sport in Northern Africa exhibiting these wonderful Barbs and their “Cavalier” Horsemen who perform in teams showcasing battle skills of yesteryear. You could also put a spotlight on the teams of stallions in Marrakech and other places of tourism that show visitors to the cities of Morocco the flavors of people, wares, and architecture of the cites. I am so excited for Breyerfest this year! The only reason I would miss it is if we were going back to visit my husbands family and take a trip out to Meknes where the Sultan in the 18th century had over 10k horses (where the Godolphin Barb “Sham” came from!) and visit the ruins of the ancient stables there.

Wow and Oh Wow and this horse so pretty and beautiful and I can’t wait until Breyerfest and so I can get this beautiful horse and add it to my Breyer horse Collection for good.

Man, I really wish online participants could get him. Pretty disappointed about that :/ hopefully we get at least 1 nice looking model that we can get or we have access to the “in person only” models in the after sale if it is online again.

Marla Chapman - January 4, 2023

STUNNING. JUST STUNNING. I’m going to see if I can get him second hand.

Jay_mo - January 4, 2023

Wow, really upset online participants can’t purchase him. He was definitely a maybe for me and a for sure for a lot of online participants. Upsetting.
