¡Salud! - The 2025 Breyer Ambassador Model
Meet this unique model that will be awarded to Breyer volunteers, artists and content creators throughout the year!
Our 30th BreyerFest Celebration Horse had pretty large horseshoes to fill with so many exceptional Celebration Horses over the years. With our theme, Salute to Horse Heroes, in mind we looked no further than our friends at the Kentucky Horse Park. Who better to salute, and to say a HUGE thank you to for 30 years of support at BreyerFest, than the KHP?
One horse immediately came to mind – Oliver, Captain Lisa Rakes’ equine partner. As a member of the Kentucky Horse Mounted Police 11 year old Oliver (a Shire cross) certainly stands out in a crowd with black and white pinto pattern and his large stature. His friendly and curious nature has served him very well so far in the first six years of his career; he joined the unit at age 5.
You might have noticed this dynamic duo at BreyerFest over the past couple of years - Oliver has been seen greeting guests in the morning. They also work many of the other prestigious events that happen at the Horse Park throughout the year. They do everything from leading parades and daily park patrols, which are Oliver’s favorite.
Our Oliver’s model is on the Cleveland Bay mold, #703 and sculpted by Karen Y. Gerhardt, and beautifully captures his unique black and white pinto markings.
As Captain Rakes says of Oliver “He loves people, loves being the center of attention, and is a great ambassador to the Kentucky Horse Park.” We couldn’t think of a better ambassador for BreyerFest 2019 Salute to Horse Heroes and we can’t wait for all of our guests to meet Oliver and Captain Rakes!
The BreyerFest 3-Day Tickets will go on sale in early January and don’t forget that each 3-Day ticket comes with an Oliver model along with tons of other perks!

Three winners each received a special Breyer model of their horse - one of which is coming to the Breyer regular line later this year!
An important message regarding recent delays in order fulfillment.
