Meet our 2025 Celebration Horse!

Meet our 2025 Celebration Horse!

The BreyerFest Celebration horse is always a uniquely special horse.  For 2025’s diamond jubilee celebration of the Breyer brand, we knew we needed to choose a Celebration Horse whose energy in competition was as big as the energy of the year-long 75th Anniversary of Breyer celebration we are putting together.

And boy, did we find him!

It takes a special horse with a lot of grit, athleticism, and heart to complete a dressage test, cross-country course, and stadium jumping round over three days.  One such eventer celebrated for his elite performance over the years is the French Thoroughbred Tight Lines.

Phish, as he is better known in the barn, is owned by the Conair Syndicate and has helped Olympic Eventer Will Coleman succeed at some of the most well-known 5* eventing competitions in the world.  The now 18-year-old fleabitten grey started life out as a steeplechaser in France.  Will saw that the easy-going gelding had upper-level eventing promise and brought him to America.  Working their way up the levels, Phish tackled some of the toughest 5* courses with ease, including the Kentucky 3-Day Event in 2019 and 2021, the Maryland 5*, and the Defender Burghley 5*.  He was also a member of the US Eventing Team for the 2018 World Equestrian Games and assisted the team in securing an 8th place finish.  Phish earned top placings in many of his events over the years, which included wins at the National 3* and 4* Championships at Fair Hill International.

In true Thoroughbred fashion, Phish loves to run and his animated gallop and willingness to tackle any obstacle allowed him to shine on the cross-country course.  To Will, Phish is his ultimate horse, the one who helped propel him to the top of the sport.  While Phish has now stepped down from the bigger events, he still enjoys being one of Will’s favorites in the barn.

Phish has been done on the Cigar mold (#476) sculpted by Susan Carlton Sifton, in a handsome fleabitten grey and includes a special “Cheers to 75 Years” blanket!  This model will be available to select BreyerFest ticket holders, and all in-person attendees will be able to meet this charming champion and his rider Will at BreyerFest next summer.

More information on BreyerFest tickets will be coming your way in December, but in the meantime, have a fun Halloween tomorrow (if you celebrate) and be sure to check back in with the BreyerFest Blog in November when we dive into some of the incredible equestrian disciplines that have helped to shape the Breyer brand.

Cheers to you, Phish!

Kat - December 16, 2024

If this is the Celebration model why does it say he is available to “select,” ticket holders? Does this mean the all access online ticket holders will not receive this model?
This is confusing.

Phish is so handsome, I can’t wait to meet him. Love the “older” grey coloring that was picked for the celebration model.
