BreyerFest Children’s & Youth Model Horse Shows

If you (or your child) are between the ages of 4 and 16 and new to the world of model horse showing, then check this out!

On Saturday, July 12^th, BreyerFest is proud to host our Children’s & Youth Model Horse Shows in person at BreyerFest, which are a wonderful and educational introduction to the world of model horse showing!  Show Managers Kim and Eleanor, and their enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of judges and stewards, can’t wait to show you the ropes. 

Both the Children’s and Youth shows run at the same time, but have different class lists, so you’ll want to read all the information on the model horse shows page (scroll down for the Children’s & Youth Show information) carefully before you enter.  It’s a lot to take in and can be overwhelming for first timers, so if you have any questions, our show managers are there to assist!  They can be contacted at breyershow@gmail.com.

Entrants should pick out their favorite eligible ponies (see the rules for what’s eligible) and make sure they are in good condition.  Your Show String models should have nice paintjobs (crisp markings and nice shading) and do not exhibit any flaws, like scratches, rubs, or chips.  Your best-looking models are your best bet for capturing the eyes of the judges.  As well, you want to make sure that the model you’re showing represents the breed you’re showing it as.  The great thing about Breyer models is just because Breyer has released a model as a certain breed, doesn’t mean it can only show as that breed!  Some models are very versatile!

This show is open to VIP or All-Access ticket holders only and is hosted in the North Expo Hall of the Alltech Arena.  Doors for set up open at 7 am and judging starts promptly at 8 am.
