Another Silent Auction Reveal!

Another Silent Auction Reveal!

Let’s take a look at another one of our Silent Auction items!

One of the most well-known Grimm’s Fairy tales is the Bremen Town Musicians. This fun tale follows an elder donkey, dog, cat, and rooster on their journey to the town of Bremen in the hopes of becoming musicians. A statue of the quartet is displayed in Bremen, Germany.

To help celebrate BreyerFest: Prost! our crafty Breyer artists have put together this unique Test Run to pay homage to the popular tale! Breyer’s rendition of the Bremen Town Musicians features the donkey (mold #81), dog (mold #1516), cat (mold #1511), and rooster (mold #5909) all stacked up in the iconic position as depicted in the story.

Interested buyers can place their bids throughout the weekend at the Breyer Booth, located within the Marketplace on the concourse of the Covered Arena. Bidding closes at 12:00pm sharp on Sunday, and will transition to verbal bidding on each item until all lots are sold. Winners must be present at the end of bidding to claim their prize.

Am I an awful person if I think that Breyer’s model is much nicer than the artistic model?

So creative and colorful! Would even like a standing donkey alone as a RR painted like this.
