A BreyerFest First!

A BreyerFest First!

As we gear up to host the first-ever hybrid BreyerFest experience, we have big plans to bring fans an incredible weekend, whether they are joining us in person or online.

We’ve already mentioned that for our celebration of BreyerFest: Prost! all ticket holders will have access to the stunning Limited Edition models, and that here at HQ we love surprises! For today’s reveal, we are excited to show fans one of those surprises!

This stunning light chestnut Rhenish Draft will be included as one of this year’s BreyerFest Limited Edition models, but will only be available for purchase online. He will not be available in person at the event, but will be available for all ticket holders to purchase on BreyerHorses.com during BreyerFest weekend and will be shipped to all buyers, whether you’re joining us in-person or online.

Though not a portrait horse, this handsome Rhenish German Draft is inspired by the beautiful horses at the North Rhine-Westphalia State Stud in Warendorf, Germany. You can learn more about the work of the State Stud and these beautiful horses here.

Events team member Alyssa had the opportunity to spend a few weeks at the North Rhine-Westphalia State Stud of Warendorf a few years ago through her college. This is one of many German studs that are working to preserve the rare Rhenish German Draft, housing 25 draft stallions that are an important part of their breeding program.

While there, she rode with the trainers of the stud and learned about their top-of-the-line breeding program. Alyssa was able to spend some time with these beautiful drafts and learn about their important role in preserving the breed. While they are mainly used for breeding, these talented drafts serve as ambassadors and are trained to drive and be ridden under saddle. They showcase their many talents at breed shows and at the stud's well-attended "Symphony of the Stallions."

Don’t stray far!  We’ve got more model reveals coming your way soon!

Love him!!! Wish I could afford a ticket so I could put him with Theo. Thank you Breyer for making great Traditional size horses.
Note: As I understood from what was said about being able to purchase him, all you have to be is a ticket holder of any kind BUT you have to go online to purchase him. So if your in person, while your standing in a line or whatever you lucky people get to do, go online and buy him.

`Oh I get it, didn’t read the description I guess, ty PEGGY JUNE WILKINSON :)

He looks great and I’m happy we’ll be getting four LE Traditionals this year, but I am disappointed three out of four are chestnuts albeit in different shades. The prices are also higher than the SRs but the run numbers are higher, too. I don’t understand. This Drafter has the highest run number of all of them, the least paint applied but the highest price. Can someone explain?

Milky Way Ponies - February 1, 2022

Oh nevermind, I was so excited about seeing him that I completely missed the part where it said he was a light chestnut 😂 Super happy though, chestnuts and sorrels are my favorite horse colors 😊

So stunning, anyone else drooling? So wish I was able to get him though. (I’m in person)
