A Beau-tiful Reveal!

A Beau-tiful Reveal!

We revealed this year's stunning Special Run decorator model on Tuesday, but today we are switching it back to another Limited Edition reveal. This will be our last Limited Edition Portrait model for BreyerFest 2025 - but don’t worry, we still have some amazing Special Runs and other Limited Edition models coming your way!

As a reminder, Limited Edition models are available to all ticket holders, whether you’re joining us in-person or online. We know you’re going to want to add this big guy to your herd! He continues our showcase of a variety of equestrian disciplines Breyer has represented through its models over the decades, and is the second portrait horse in Breyer history that competes in this gravity-defying discipline.

Meet Beau N’ Arrow!

In vaulting, commonly described as "gymnastics on horseback," competitors can compete as teams, pairs, or individuals. They are judged on their ability to smoothly perform movements all while demonstrating flexibility, strength, balance, and artistic expression. The horse is an integral part to a vaulting squad, and it takes one who is consistent in their gait and can ignore all the commotion around and on them to help the team shine. Beau’ N Arrow, a 17 year old Spotted Draft Horse gelding, has all those qualities and more, making him an exemplary vaulting horse!

Beau came to Trisha Bowman of Muddy Creek Vaulters with limited training. Trisha started training Beau as an all-around riding horse, then later introduced him to vaulting. Beau took to walking and trotting on the lunge line easily, but the canter was more difficult for him. After years spent getting him comfortable at the canter, something finally clicked, and Beau has been the squad's main and best cantering horse ever since! Beau has carried his squad to many accolades, including Overall Reserve Champion at the 2022 USEF/American Vaulting Association Nationals, and even claimed the title of USEF National High Point C-Squad Horse of the Year!

Beau N’ Arrow's portrait model is an intricate chestnut overo pinto on the loose-mane Cleveland Bay mold (#703), sculpted by Karen Gerhardt. He will be available as a part of this year’s Limited Edition model lineup available to all ticket holders, whether you’re joining us in-person or online. VIP ticket buyers can pre-select and pre-purchase this gentle giant at the time of their ticket purchase, guaranteeing their selection.

Beau’s easy-going nature and friendly disposition makes him a favorite for beginners and advanced vaulters alike. He is always ready to step up to the plate and help carry his squad to a win. For a horse that carries and lifts so many up, it’s time to celebrate Beau for all he has done for his squad!
