Sshameless++
Arabian Horse Ambassador
At age three, a stunning Arabian named Sshameless++ was named the 1995 Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt. Fifteen years later, and at an age that most horses are considered to be “past their prime,” Sshameless++ returned to Nationals with his new amateur owner Lisa Shover. Showing against much younger horses (from 3- to 12-years-old), Sshameless++ was named the 2010 Reserve National Champion in Adult Amateur Owner to Handle (AAOTH) Arabian Stallion Halter and Reserve National Champion in Select Western.
This achievement made Sshameless++ and Lisa the only team to ever win National titles in the performance and halter divisions at the same U.S. National Arabian Horse Show, and Sshameless++ the oldest Arabian to ever win National titles in performance and halter divisions! At the 2011 National Championships, Sshameless++ again was named the Reserve National Champion in AAOTH Stallion Halter.

In addition to his show ring accomplishments, Sshameless++ also proved himself to be an outstanding sire. After earning his first National title in 1995, his first foal crop went on to dominate the National Show circuit, winning nine National Championships, three Reserve National titles and 16 Top 10s. Today, his offspring continue to win National and Regional Championships throughout the U.S., Canada and abroad.
As if these outstanding accomplishments were not enough, Sshameless++ and Lisa were also invested in community outreach. They participated in the Arabian Horse Association’s Total Arabian Learning program, where Sshameless++ served as an ambassador of his breed and helped schoolchildren learn about Arabian horses. Sshameless++, Lisa and her husband Jerry Kackley also hosted an annual Cowboy Christmas party on their ranch for children from Homeward Bound, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless families.
Sshameless++ epitomized the kind nature and versatility of his breed, and took things a step further with his show career’s longevity and his heartwarming outreach for at-risk children. Gone but not forgotten, Sshameless++ contunies to live on through his incredible offspring and Breyer portrait model.
Sshameless++'s Breyer model was part of the Traditional line from 2013 to 2014.
